Медицинская терминология представляет собой специализированный язык, с помощью которого осуществляется профессиональное общение между медицинскими работниками, ведётся документация, описываются патологические процессы, методы лечения и анатомические особенности организма человека. Латинский язык является исторически сложившейся основой медицинского языка. Именно на латинском языке сформировались первые анатомические, клинические и фармакологические термины, многие из которых используются и по сей день во всех странах мира.</dc:description>
