%X This article provides a scientific analysis of enhancing regional competitiveness through increasing innovation activity. It explores the historical impact of innovation on regional economies, current reforms in Uzbekistan, and future strategic priorities. Particular attention is given to the formation of innovation infrastructure, public-private partnerships, scientific capacity development, and the role of technoparks in creating regional competitive advantages.
