The author analyzes the manifestations of such artistic arts as metaphor, simile, epithet used in poetry as linguistic phenomena and shows their importance in the formation of national poetic traditions. The article also highlights the linguopoetic aspects of the relationship between language and artistic and aesthetic expression in modern Uzbek poetry. The results of this research are aimed at developing new directions in Uzbek literary studies and linguistics.
