%X In the 21st-century globalized academic and professional context, English language literacy has become a core competency for students in higher education. This article explores the methodological foundations for improving English language literacy among university students, analyzing both traditional and innovative pedagogical approaches. Emphasis is placed on communicative competence, integration of digital technologies, learner-centered strategies, and cross-disciplinary language applications. Drawing upon modern linguistic theory, cognitive science, and instructional design, the study proposes a comprehensive methodology to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in academic environments. The article also addresses assessment frameworks and curriculum alignment, offering a multidimensional model of English literacy development in higher education.
