N2  - This article provides a comparative analysis of emotional words and lexical units expressing feelings in the Uzbek and German languages, highlighting their linguistic structures, semantic nuances, and cultural underpinnings. By examining key emotional lexical units, the study explores how cultural values, historical contexts, and linguistic typologies shape the expression of emotions such as happiness, sadness, love, and anger. The analysis reveals that Uzbek tends to emphasize collective and relational emotional expressions, influenced by its cultural emphasis on community and hospitality, while German prioritizes precision and individual introspection, reflecting its cultural value of clarity and directness. The findings underscore the interplay between language, culture, and emotion, offering insights into cross-cultural communication.
