These injuries may occur during complicated labor and delivery processes, particularly in cases of breech presentation, instrumental delivery, or excessive traction applied during birth. This article reviews the epidemiology, mechanisms of injury, clinical presentation, diagnostic methods, and treatment strategies associated with cervical spine trauma in neonates.
