abstract: The article highlights the scientific, methodological, and theoretical foundations of using modern biotechnologies in potato seed production. Scientific approaches to the development of new potato varieties that are virus-free and adapted to climatic conditions using advanced biotechnological methods are studied. An analysis is conducted on genetic selection methods, molecular marking, plant tissue culture, monoclonal propagation, microbiological, ecological, and agronomic approaches, as well as "in vitro" propagation techniques and biological control measures.
