      "abstract": "In modern language pedagogy, collaborative learning has gained substantial recognition for its effectiveness in promoting communicative competence, social development, and learner autonomy. As classrooms increasingly move toward student-centered methodologies, the role of peer interaction has become more prominent, particularly in English language teaching (ELT). This article reviews relevant literature on collaborative learning, discusses practical applications in ELT classrooms, examines observed outcomes in learner performance and behavior, and concludes with strategic recommendations for teachers. It underscores the value of designing structured, inclusive, and purposeful collaborative tasks to enrich both linguistic and interpersonal skills in learners.\n ",
