abstract: This article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment aimed at improving the motor potential of young gymnasts at the initial stage of their sports development. The results of physical status testing are provided, as well as data from a year-long experiment evaluating the improvement of the motor quality of jumping ability in young gymnasts.
