%X This article provides a comprehensive analysis of technological and practical solutions aimed at improving the quality of multimedia data transmission using passive optical network (PON) technologies. The advantages of PON technologies, methods for reducing network losses, opportunities for increasing data transmission speeds, and the prospects for new generation technologies are discussed. The economic and environmental benefits of these technologies are also considered.
