%X Solar energy has emerged as a pivotal solution to the growing demand for renewable energy sources. Among the various technologies to harness solar energy, photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar thermal systems are the most prominent. This article explores the fundamental principles, functionality, advantages, and disadvantages of both systems. By examining their operational mechanisms and applications, this study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how these technologies contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
