abstract: This article analyzes the journalistic legacy of Ishaqkhan Ibrat, a prominent representative of the Jadid movement, writer, translator, publicist, publisher and teacher, and historian. In particular, the content and essence of the advanced ideas and topical issues put forward in the articles and travel essays of the publicist published in the pages of the Turkistan Region Gazette and the Oyina magazine are highlighted.
