abstract: This article analyzes the unemployment rate and employment policy in Uzbekistan. Based on official statistics in recent years, it highlights the reduction in unemployment, the creation of new jobs, and the importance of labor migration. It also provides information on the employment policy implemented by the government, the role of self-employment support, and vocational education in providing employment. The article also analyzes the measures taken to eliminate the unemployment problem and future prospects.
