%X The study of the subject area allowed the author to highlight the basic stages of the formation of knowledge, artistic and practical skills in the framework of lectures and laboratory crafts: theoretical preparation, modeling of computer networks with the use of modern information technology and practical implementation of networks for solving concrete tasks. A technology for teaching the course has been developed using a practice-oriented approach.
