N2  - it is known that the emergence of courtyard traditions is closely related to the formation and history of residential architecture. courtyards are the main object of folk architecture. the problem of researching the use of courtyards in the architecture of Uzbekistan in the style of an architectural component arising from regional natural and climatic conditions is an urgent issue. this article analyzes the history of courtyards, the social roots of folk architecture, the main currents of the formation of architectural traditions in them.
