%X Infectious diseases pose a serious threat to global healthcare systems. This article discusses the main causes of emergency situations related to infectious diseases, their epidemiological characteristics, as well as modern methods of prevention and mitigation. Recommendations are provided based on statistical data, scientific research, and international experience.
