Initially, it highlights the city's role as a center of trade, culture, and science. Then, the strategic importance of Samarkand on the Silk Road and the factors contributing to its prosperity in different periods are analyzed. Additionally, the article explores the city's current role in tourism, cultural heritage, and international relations. Research indicates that Samarkand continues to hold an essential place in world civilization with its historical monuments and cultural values.
