abstract: This study explores the lexical representations, contextual meanings, and pragmatic implications of politeness in the Uzbek information space, with a focus on its usage in media, public discourse, and interpersonal communication. Through linguistic and cultural analysis, the study investigates the relationship between politeness strategies, social hierarchy, and cultural norms in Uzbek society. The research examines the role of honorifics, pronouns, and polite expressions in maintaining social harmony, highlighting how politeness is deeply rooted in Uzbek customs, including formal greetings, inquiries, and farewells. It also emphasizes the role of non-verbal communication and religious influences on politeness. The findings suggest that politeness in Uzbek linguoculture is not only a linguistic phenomenon but a cultural construct that reinforces social ties, respect for elders, and community values. By analyzing the interplay between language, culture, and communication, the study contributes to a deeper understanding of Uzbek speech etiquette and its role in shaping national identity.
