Bu jarayon til tarixini o‘rganishda, madaniy ta’sirlarni aniqlashda va leksik birliklarning semantik o‘zgarishlarini tushunishda muhim ahamiyat kasb etadi. Tadqiqot davomida turli tillardan olingan so‘zlarning etimologik tahlili misollar asosida yoritiladi.
