abstract: Baikal EM-1 is an environmentally friendly, highly effective microbiological fertilizer that has a significant impact on the growth, development and increase in productivity of plants. This biopreparation contains a complex of beneficial microorganisms, in particular, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, phosphorus-solubilizing microbes and phytohormone-producing fungi. As a result of the use of Baikal EM-1, soil fertility increases, the decomposition of organic matter accelerates, the activity of harmful microorganisms is suppressed, and the root system of plants is strengthened. The article covers the composition, methods of use, agrotechnical advantages of Baikal EM-1 fertilizer, as well as the results observed when applying it to various agricultural crops. Also, scientific data based on research by domestic and foreign scientists are presented, supported by facts scientifically proving the effectiveness of the fertilizer. This microbiological preparation is significant for its environmental safety, economic efficiency and role in restoring balance in the agroecosystem. Therefore, Baikal EM-1 is recognized as an important factor contributing to sustainable development in agriculture.
