	bibo:abstract "This article examines the urgent need to implement effective and resource-saving irrigation technologies in response to the growing water scarcity caused by global climate change, rapid population growth, and the expansion of industrial activity.\nIn particular, the study focuses on the southern regions of Uzbekistan-specifically Surkhandarya province-where water deficiency is becoming increasingly critical. The research evaluates the agro-technical and economic effectiveness of modern irrigation methods, including drip, sprinkler, aerosol, and discrete systems. Experimental data were collected on water consumption, crop yield, nutrient uptake, soil moisture levels, salinity, labor productivity, and profitability. Drip irrigation demonstrated the highest efficiency, reducing water usage by 40-45% and increasing cotton yield to 45.2 c/ha. Aerosol irrigation also proved effective, achieving 30-35% water savings while maintaining high technical performance.\nThe study also assesses the adaptability of each method to local climatic conditions, feasibility of implementation, and investment benefits. The results confirm that integrating resource-saving irrigation technologies is essential to ensuring sustainable agricultural production and efficient water management under current climate stress. The article concludes with practical recommendations and outlines future directions for continued scientific research."^^xsd:string;
