Medicinal plants are used in food and pharmaceutical industries and other fields. Although these plants with such important uses are found naturally in our country, there is no research on them. Breeding and experimental research on medicinal plants in our country is limited. Likewise, the number of plant species registered through breeding and creation of registered varieties is also very few.
