The paper begins by highlighting the importance of this study, followed by&nbsp;providing a comprehensive explanation of antonymy and its categorization, supported&nbsp;by illustrative examples. The primary emphasis of the paper lies in exploring the&nbsp;utilization of antonymy in specific English texts from a linguistic standpoint. Abundant&nbsp;instances of antonyms are cited to enhance the clarity of the explanations,&nbsp;demonstrating that a deeper understanding and investigation of antonymy can greatly&nbsp;enhance the interpretation of various texts and contribute to the enrichment of literary&nbsp;expression&nbsp;
