Using AI writing tools to enhance EFL learners writing skills

 
This research provides a critical perspective of the current literature surrounding the application of AI tools in lessons. The primary objective of this article is to clarify the concept of AI tools, reasons for using them to enhance the writing skills of EFL students, methods and key concepts of using these tools correctly, potential benefits that can be gained,  research results on this topic and future of this trend. As AI has become inseparable part of today, operating every technology: from the smartphones to the complex algorithms driving financial markets, its footprint is undeniable in the scope of education, especially when learning foreign languages Since methods, and approaches that are used in traditional teaching systems have changed to learner-centered ones by applying new tools of AI as a way to be linked with cutting-edge technology and improve both the teaching and learning process, expanded varieties of these tools, are now widely used in EFL classrooms both by teachers and learners, creating a bigger environment for greater improvements but rising reliance on them at the same time. There have been huge debates and research on this topic, some concluding it to be beneficial and harmless, in this paper writer tries to give a perspective based on both research conducted in their home country and a review of the literature by scholars abroad, and offers more detailed information to draw conclusions about its global influence.
