THE STRUCTURES OF PULMONARY PARENCHYMA IN HYPOPLASIA OF LUNGS

Pulmonary hypoplasia is a developmental anomaly characterized by incomplete growth of lung tissue, leading to reduced gas exchange surfaces and impaired respiratory function. This study aims to examine the structural changes in the pulmonary parenchyma associated with lung hypoplasia by comparing histological samples from normal and hypoplastic lung tissues. Morphometric analysis and histopathological evaluation reveal significant alterations in alveolar architecture, vascularization, and interstitial tissue composition. The results highlight the importance of early diagnosis and intervention in managing pulmonary hypoplasia.
