CHALLENGES RELATED TO INCREASING THE NUMBER OF FOREIGN CORPORATIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

This article investigates the major economic, institutional, legal, and social challenges associated with expanding the presence of foreign corporations in Uzbekistan. While foreign direct investment (FDI) plays a crucial role in developing economies by introducing capital, technology, and employment opportunities, Uzbekistan faces various structural and administrative barriers that hinder the growth of foreign corporate participation. The research analyzes the core issues, including bureaucratic inefficiencies, regulatory uncertainties, infrastructure deficits, and human capital constraints. Using a mixed-methods approach combining statistical analysis and policy review, this study aims to identify practical solutions for fostering a more favorable investment climate and increasing foreign corporate involvement in the Uzbek market.
