DEVELOPMENT TRENDS AND PROSPECTS OF THE SERVICE SECTOR IN UZBEKISTAN

This study examines the significant growth of the service sector in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan from 2010 to 2024. Statistical analysis reveals a remarkable 35.8-fold increase in service volume, particularly accelerating after 2018 due to state-led economic liberalization, infrastructure development, and digital service adoption. The exponential growth model exhibits a high degree of accuracy (R² = 0.9896), indicating a systemic and predictable growth pattern. This suggests the effectiveness of implemented policies and reforms in driving service sector expansion, contributing to GDP growth, job creation, and improved living standards.  The findings highlight the potential for continued growth and investment attraction in the sector.
