Development of multimedia technologies and media ethics in modern journalism

The article analyzes the development trends of multimedia elements and their aspects related to media ethics. The process of transition from print media to digital format, the role of multimedia tools in the media space and their impact on the audience were studied. The importance of media ethics principles in the development of multimedia journalism was analyzed, in particular, the problems of information authenticity, the risk of manipulation, personal inviolability, and confidentiality. Multimedia journalism must ensure social trust and the quality of information by strictly adhering to ethical standards.
