THE INFLUENCE OF PLANTING STANDARDS AND PERIODS ON THE GERMINATION OF FALL RYJIK VARIETIES

The article presents the effect of sowing rates and dates of winter rye varieties "Penzyak" and "Karat" on seed germination in the conditions of irrigated soils of the Surkhandarya region. It was found that in the conditions of irrigated soils of the Surkhandarya region, the germination of winter rye seeds occurs in 7 days when planted early (October 15), in 13-14 days when planted mid-term (November 1), and in 22-25 days when planted late (November 15). The duration of seed germination depends on the sowing date, and it is noted that a delay in sowing dates by 15 days compared to October 15 leads to a delay in seed germination by 7-18 days.
